Who has a cameo in Black Panther 2? ›

Warning: There are spoilers ahead for "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever," which is now on Disney+. The sequel has surprising and obvious cameos, and a few appearances you may miss. Anderson Cooper and Michael B. Jordan are among those who show up in the movie.

Wakanda Forever charted 2022's second-best opening at the domestic box office at $181.3M, following Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' $187.4M. It was nowhere near as good as the first Black Panther movie. I appreciate that they were trying to be respectful toward Chadwick Boseman, but I think they overdid it. Also, Martin Freeman's role in this movie was... odd. It felt shoehorned in as a touchstone to the previous Black Panther movie.

The plot falls short, the acting is not up to par with the film's budget and it follows the current Marvel Cinematic Universe's (MCU) standard of poor computer-generated imagery (CGI). For a film that declares itself a dedication to Boseman, it is better left forgotten than attributed to him.

Here, Boseman married before his death and had no children. His wife is the sole distributee and will inherit all of the assets he owned in his own name. But what if there were assets, such as joint accounts, that were not owned solely by Boseman?

In the end, Shuri's interaction with Killmonger acts as more than just a highly-anticipated cameo. Finding Killmonger on the throne and hearing his violent point of view gives her the chance to confront her own emotions, no matter how dark they are.

In other words, there's no good reason for the Wakandans to invite anyone from outside of the country to join in their celebration and mourning of their king. The absence of the Avengers underscores the major themes of Wakanda Forever as the country figures out where they belong within the Marvel Universe.
